Criterion 1: Implemented environmental policy::

possessing appropriate administrative decisions and contracts for energy supply,

use of a heating source: electrical (energy efficiency certificate of the building), gas, biomass or another type of fuel (official building inspection reports, appraisals and experts’ opinions on the building’s technical condition included in the building logbook),
-
regulated environment-use reporting and fees,
-
heating installation equipped with adjusters: thermoregulation, weather regulator, etc.
-
application of at least 50% of devices, reducing electric power consumption (e.g. energy-saving office equipment, lighting, etc.).
Criterion
2: Heating and electric power management:
- possessing appropriate administrative decisions and contracts for energy supply,

3: CO2 emission monitoring:
- constant application of the “CO2 Calculator” (http://www.eko-spec.pl) corporate Internet tool for:
• monitoring heat energy consumption, • monitoring electric power consumption, • monitoring water consumption and sewage production, • monitoring waste quantity production.
Criterion 4: Water management:
-
contract for water supply, own efficient water intake (documents),
-
appliance of water reducing devices (e.g. faucet aerators, etc.) in at least 50% of all water intake points,
-
purchase of biodegradable detergents
-
contract for sewage disposal (if sewage is accumulated in holding tanks – presentation of documents confirming sewage collection, in case of own sewage treatment plant – operating documents),
-
a valid water supply and sewage effluent disposal consent for draining effluents and rainwater/precipitation water from hardened surfaces to the environment (if applicable),
-
facilities with swimming pools: maintaining sanitary water quality in the pool in compliance with hygiene and health requirements (Sanitary & Epidemiological Station documents).
Criterion 5: Waste management:

appropriate administrative decisions regarding the production of waste, including hazardous waste,
-
waste collection contracts,
-
appropriate waste storing,
-
correct procedures for handling hazardous waste,
-
waste segregation system for plastic, glass, paper, metal and organic waste (if possible),
-
assigning places for storing segregated waste (marked and secured),
-
waste-reduction initiatives.
Criterion 6: Efficient ventilation, air conditioning and fire-prevention systems:
-
documents confirming good working order of the ventilation system
-
documents confirming good working order of the air conditioning (if applicable)

fire-prevention measures.
Criterion 7: Attentiveness to local natural and cultural heritage:
-
providing basic tourism information about the region and its natural and cultural values
-
using local food products, including ecological foods with certificates (if possible)

promoting active forms of recreation, e.g. hiking, cycling, providing information on the existing cycle routes, tourism equipment renting shops, ect.
Criterion
8: Environmental education of employees and customers:
-
training all employees in pro-ecological activities taken by the Organisation,
-
promotion of eco-friendly solutions used by the organisation (e.g.: preparation of information materials, leaflets, internal newsletter, information on web sites).
* The financial surplus of the economic activity is 100% dedicated to the object and the mission of the Foundation.
