Our achievements
- The Foundation has established a nationwide "grassroots" movement of the partnership for the environment, supported by five thematic programs.
- The Foundation initiated the creation of 22 Partner Groups on Sustainable Development - a coalition of NGOs, local governments and companies that work together to develop the region in harmony with the environment - so far over 600 organizations, institutions and companies have come together.
- The Foundation helps more than 500 small and medium businesses to engage in practical environmental activities that reduce costs, increase competitiveness and contribute to sustainable development implemented through the Clean Business Program.
- In cooperation with more than 600 local partners in Poland (NGOs, local governments, schools, companies) and partners nationwide, including the central government (as well as the Polish Tourist Organization) the 7 Green Trails were formed - Greenways which cover over 3500 km across the country.
- 700 schools from across Poland have been involved in practical work within the local educational program - Schools for Sustainable Development.
- The Foundation has introduced a national system of environmental certification to verify environmental effectiveness. More than 500 eco-certificates have been awarded to companies, institutions, schools and organizations, confirming their eco-commitment.
- The Foundation has organized over 200 national and international conferences related to wider issues of sustainable development.
- The Foundation has released more than 50 educational publications and manuals relating to wider issues of sustainable development.
