Strategic Partners Foundation
The Foundation establishes strategic partnerships with large companies for whom environmental protection, sustainable development and community involvement are priorities and want to be an example of best practices. We want to be a partner with all companies that are have pro-social and ecological priorities within their core business.
The Foundation's activities are created and implemented with active participation and long-term cooperation with four Strategic business partners and other strategic partners of the Foundation.
Strategic Business Partners of the Foundation:
Kraft Foods is a rapidly growing business in Poland, known for brands such as Cadbury, Trident, Green and Blacks, Halls, and The Natural Confectionary. Kraft Foods operates two chocolate factories in Poland: one in Skarbimierz and one in Bielany Wrocławskie. As well as a new chewing gum factory located in Skarbimierz, near Bank. Currently, Kraft Foods is one of the largest investors in the food industry in Poland. Since its beginning Kraft Foods have supported the idea of coporate social responsibility (CSR) and treat it as the key to success. They have for many years promoted the idea of volunteering among their employees, who are able to start their own social projects and obtain support from the company to do so. Kraft Foods social commitment is reflected in its many awards it has received for its CSR (the title of Benefactor of the Year 2008 awarded by the Academy for the Development of Philanthropy). Kraft Foods is committed to protecting the environment as exemplified in 2009 when it obtained a Green Office certificate. Since 2008 they have been collaborating with the Foundation under the Schools for Sustainable Development Program. |

Toyota is one of the largest and most recognized car manufacturers in the, which it has achieved by focusing on customer satisfaction. Toyota has developed a set of environmental protection principles under the heading of its Earth Charter, which began its implementation in all its delegations around the world. Toyota is the creator of the world's first mass-produced hybrid car, now with over 2 million in use on our roads. It has two modern factories in Poland, (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland Walbrzych and Toyota Motor Industries Poland in Jelcz Laskowice) organic produce engines and modern gearboxes. They have worked with The Foundation since 2004, mainly under the Schools for Sustainable Development, in 2009, they received a Green Office certificate for their Warsaw headquarters. |

Knauf Insulation is an insulation manufacturer offering a wide range of insulation products to meet the growing demand for energy efficiency. The company provides comprehensive solutions for insulation of residential buildings, non-residential buildings and industrial facilities. Insulation of buildings is in fact the simplest and cheapest way to save energy. One of Knauf's of the flagship products is a natural mineral wool with ECOSE® Technology produced from naturally occurring and/or secondary raw materials for bio-based fibers connecting the natural components, free from formaldehyde, phenol and acrylic, with no added artificial coloring and lightening substances. This insulation was used in one of the schools of the Schools for Sustainable Development under the Akcja Ekoszkoła - the first joint initiative of the Environmental Partnership Foundation with Knauf Insulation. | |
